Menu Functions

Only the menu items not available in IE and special to $ProductName will be explained below. For menu items the same to those in IE, please refer to IE manual. 

File Menu

  • New
  • Blank Site
    Open a blank site in a new window
  • Home Page
    Open home page in a new window
  • Duplicate Current Site
    Open the address of the active site in a new window
  • From Address in Clipboard
    Open the address in clipboard in a new window
  • New Browser
    Open a new browser main window
  • Recently Close Sites
    Show the list of recently closed sites. You can select any one of them to re-open it. Select "Clear this list" to clear this history list. 
  • Restore Sites Open In Last Session
    Restore the sites that were open when $ProductName was closed in last session. 
  • Save As
    Save the current page including pictures
  • Save Without Picture
    Save the current page excluding pictures
  • Close All
    Close all sites including hidden sites. 
  • Close All But Current
    Close all sites except the active one
  • Close All Blank & Failed Sites
    Close all sites which are blank or in error like page not found. 

    Edit Menu

  • Select All
    When the current site is an http site, this menu item will highlight the entire web page. When it's an ftp site or a local directory, this menu item will highlight all the files and directories displayed.
  • Undo Last Close
    Re-open last closed site
  • Undo Last Close All
    Re-open all sites before your last close-all operation.

  • Favorites: Show favorite shortcuts on a horizontal toolbar. 
  • Links
  • Utilities: Show the shortcut under this folder: Application Data\utilities. 
  • Site Tab
  • Rebuild Links Bar: Rebuild links bar in case of undetected external changes.
  • Site Tab Style
  • Place On Top: Place the tab bar on the top
  • Place On Bottom: Place the tab bar on the bottom
  • Button Style: Display the site tab in button style
  • Tab Style: Display the site tab in tab style
  • Multiline Mode: Allow the site tabs to be displayed on multiple lines
  • Lock Toolbars: Lock the toolbars so that they can't be moved. 
  • Custom Standard Toolbar...: add/remove buttons on the standard toolbar or custom its style
  • Clean Quick-Search History: Clean the history on the quick-search bar. 
  • Explorer Bars
  • ScriptPad: Toggle the visibility of the script pad
  • Rebuild Favorites Bar: Rebuild favorites bar in case of undetected external changes
  • Block Popup Windows
    Enable the built-in popup killer to automatically block popup windows. 
  • Restore Last Popup Window
    Restore the last popup window blocked by popup killer.
  • Hidden Sites
    Activate a dialog to view and manage all hidden sites. These sites may be manually hidden by user or automatically hidden by the popup killer.
  • Suppress Script Errors
    Disable script error message dialogs. It will also disable script debugging. 
  • Stop All
    Stop the connection of all sites
  • Refresh All
    Refresh all the sites
  • Skins
  • Disable Skin
    Restore $ProductName to the plain appearance with no skin.
  • Select Skins...
    Apply the selected skin to $ProductName. Refer to the section [Skins]. 

    Favorites Menu

  • Import Favorites
    Import Favorites from a bookmark file.
  • Export Favorites
    Export Favorites to a bookmark file.
  • Refresh Favorites
    Manually refresh the favorites menu in case the favorites folder is modified externally. 

    Language Menu

    Online translation using free translation engines. It supports translation directions between the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian. 

  • Translate Current Page Into English 
    Translate current page into English. This service is provided by google translation engine. The translation can only be done if the source language can be automatically detected AND Google provides the translation service for the current language of the current page.

    Translate the active web page using Google's translation engine
  • Babelfish Translation
    Translate the active web page using Babelfish's translation engine
  • Translation Text
  • Google Translation
    Translate selected text in the active window using Google's translation engine
  • Babel fish Translation
    Translate selected text in the active window using Babelfish's translation engine
  • Look Up In Dictionaries
  • Custom Dictionary Definitions...
    Open the dictionary definition file (dictionary.ini) to view and edit dictionary definition entries. The syntax of dictionary definition entries are the same as search engine definitions
  • Predefined Dictionaries
    Select a word in the current web page and choose a predefined online dictionary. $ProductName will automatically retrieve the interpretation of that word using the online dictionary. 
  • Interface Language
    Select the interface language of $ProductName. The effect is immediate. No need to restart $ProductName. Interested in providing a translation in your own language? Click here

    Tools Menu

  • Set As Default Browser
    Set $ProductName as the default browser.
  • External

    Open the current page with IE.

    All the registered email clients are listed at the bottom of this sub-menu. 
  • Clean Trace

    Clean browser history

    Clean all cached cookies.

    Clean all pages, images and other files in cache.
  • Clean All Trace
    Clean everything including history, cookies and cached files. 
  • Site Filter
  • Enable Site Filter
    This option will enable $ProductName to block sites in the black list but not in the white list.
  • White List...
    View and edit the white list filter
  • Add Into White List...
    Add the current site into the white list
  • Black List...
    View and edit the black list filter
  • Add Into Black List...
    Add the current site into the black list
  • Execute Scripts
  • Download Control
    By default, all the options below are turned on. You can turn off some of them for higher speed or tighter security. Please note that the following download control options only apply to the active site. For default download control options which apply to all sites, change them in the options dialog.

    The following menu items are related to the In-page Ad Filter.
  • Enable In-Page Ad-Filter
    Enabling this option will automatically filter the Ads in the current page. 
  • Filter Current Page Now
    Apply the Ad-Filter on the current page now. This menu item is useful when you choose to apply the Ad-Filter manually only when it's necessary

  • Organize Proxies
    Organize the list of pre-defined proxies
  • Disable Proxy
    Disable the use of proxy without clearing information about proxy server address and port.

    Select any of the pre-defined proxy to set it as the current proxy
  • Web Robots
  • Link Extractor
    Help you extract all links matching a pattern from a web page. 
  • Alias Definitions
  • Extract Search Engine Data...
    Extract the search engine definition data from the current web page automatically. Refer to help on quick-search bar
  • Internet Options
    Options for Internet Explorer. This menu item has the same function as the tools->internet options in IE.
  • Options
    Options special to $ProductName.
